DSB har indgået kontrakt om indkøb af 7 brugte passagervogne til dobbeltdækker-flåden uden forudgående udbud i henhold til forsyningsvirksomhedsdirektivets art. 50. DSB vurderer, at både betingelserne for at være omfattet af forsyningsvirksomhedsdirektivets art. 50. litra c) ii) og art. 50, litra h) er opfyldt. De 7 passagervogne (som er tilsvarende DSB's B-vogne ift. den tekniske specifikation, jf. nærmere herom i pkt. II.2.4) og pkt. IV.1.1) agtes indgået med Deutsche Leasing AG og forventes leveret ultimo 2023.
