## Description

To establish our new research group on critical metal deposit formation, we need to procure a state-of-the-art Raman microscope system that enables mineral identification, fluid inclusion characterization, as well as 2D mineral mapping of uneven surfaces at less than 1 micron resolution. The only currently available commercial system that meets our requirements is Renishaw’s inVia Qontor Raman microscope system for Raman spectral analysis and LiveTrack automatic sample focusing.
