### Award Criterion Descriptions

- The evaluation of the sub-criterion “Price” is based on the prices offered by the tenderer in Annex VI Schedule of prices. The “Evaluation Price” is calculated automatically in the sheet “Front Cover Summary” of Annex VI. When evaluating the ‘Price’ sub-criterion the NHMD uses a linear point model with a price spread of 30 %, i.e. the NHMD will award 10 points to the tender with the lowest Evaluation Price while a tender with an Evaluation Price exceeding the lowest Evaluation Price by 30 % (or more) will be awarded a score of 0 points. Tenders with an Evaluation Price between the lowest Evaluation Price and the Evaluation Price exceeding the lowest Evaluation Price by 30 % will be awarded points by a linear interpolation between these two extremes.
- Evaluation of the ‘Organisation’ sub-criterion will be based on the information provided by the tenderer, cf. the listing in section 5.4.3 of the Tender Conditions. When evaluating the ‘Organisation’ sub-criterion, the NHMD will, in an overall assessment of the information provided by the tenderer, evaluate to what extent the tenderer offers a project organisation with suitable competencies and workflows which will contribute to a timely design, manufacturing, engineering and on-site installation of specialist showcases, including lighting, graphics, fittings and possibly bespoke mount, of the highest quality and in accordance with the NHMD’s technical and design requirements. The overall assessment includes, but is not limited to, an evaluation of the following elements: • To what extent the offered project organisation is specifically suited for the content and scope of the contract, including to what extent the tender demonstrates an organisation that enables a nimble and flexible response whilst working under pressure to deliver such a large and complex project. • To what extent the key members of the proposed team demonstrates solid design and technical/engineering competences and experiences relevant for the delivery of a high number of specialist showcases including lighting, graphics, fittings and possibly bespoke mounts in a complex environment, including expert skills to work with climate control, meeting fire codes, using complex materiality and completing complex installation processes. • To what extent the resource plan is realistic, robust and ensures that the adequate resources are allocated in each stage of the project.
- Evaluation of the ‘Project Execution and Technical Solution’ sub-criterion will be based on the information provided by the tenderer, cf. the listing in section 5.4.3 of the Tender Conditions. When evaluating the ‘Project Execution and Technical Solution’ sub-criterion, the NHMD will, in an overall assessment of the information provided by the tenderer, evaluate to what extent the tender renders it probable that the tenderer will ensure a timely handover of specialist showcases, including lighting, graphics, fittings, and possibly bespoke mounts, with high manufacturing and finish quality suitable to create a great visitor experience and clearly manifest the visions and goals for the galleries and collections. The overall assessment includes, but is not limited to, an evaluation of the following elements: • To what extent the tenderer’s time schedule is realistic, robust, indicates the critical path and clearly ensures that the milestones in section 12.1.2 of the contract are met. • To what extent the tenderer through its overall and concrete approach to each of the stages, its project management plan and its solutions to the technical challenges displays a solid understanding of the project scope and complexities, supporting that the tenderer has the ability to see the specialist showcase project through de-sign, production, installation and to handover, ensuring an appropriate involvement of the NHMDs, relevant coordination with the other specialist contractors as well as timely and contractual deliveries throughout the entire project. • To what extent the proposed quality management plan ensures a proper preparation, design, and execution, so that professional errors are prevented, and that deficiencies are remedied before handover ensuring that the end-products conforms with the requirements in the procurement documents. • To what extent the tenderer illustrates the ability to design, produce and install specialist showcases, including lighting, graphics, fittings, and possibly bespoke mounts, of the highest possible quality, ensuring a suitable and robust solution which deliver long term protection for the museum collection, a high conservation grade, a high functionality and low maintenance.
- Evaluation of the ‘Sustainability’ sub-criterion will be based on the information provided by the tenderer, cf. the listing in section 5.4.3 of the Tender Conditions. When evaluating the ‘Sustainability’ sub-criterion, the NHMD will, in an overall assessment of the information provided by the tenderer, evaluate to what extent the tenderer renders it probable that the tenderer to as a high degree as possible will deliver a solution which is sustainable in the long term in every area possible from supply chain to material sources and all other feasible aspects, which will contribute to the NHMD’s goal of 40-60% sustainable materials in the exhibition spaces.

### Options

- The contract includes the following options: (i) An option to leave out the manufacturing, engineering and on-site installation of up to 33 specialist showcases (and the including lighting, graphics, fittings and possibly bespoke mounts related to the specific showcase). The NHMD may exercise the option to leave out one or more of the showcases no later than the date of conclusion of the Contract. (ii) Options regarding manufacturing, engineering and on-site installation of bespoke mounts based on the unit prices set out in the Pricing Schedule. The NHMD may exercise the option and the Contractor is obligated to deliver the services covered by the option upon remuneration in accordance with the Pricing Schedule when the NHMD demands this. The NHMD may exercise the option up to 2 months after the conclusion of the Contract.

## Description

This procurement procedure regards a contract for P1: Specialist Showcases for the new Museum Galleries at the Natural History Museum of Denmark ("NHMD"). It concerns the design, manufacturing, engineering and on-site installation of 173 specialist showcases for the new museum galleries, including lighting, graphics, fittings and - as an option - bespoke mounts. The contract includes an option to leave out the manufacturing, engineering and on-site installation of up to 33 showcases (and the included lighting, graphics, fittings and possibly bespoke mounts related to the specific showcase) from the contract. Furthermore, the contract includes the contractor’s performance of variants to the extent NHMD finds it necessary to complete the museum galleries in accordance with the gallery designs.
