### Award Criterion Descriptions

- The Contracting Authority will identify the economically most advantageous Tender on the basis of the best price-quality ratio. The sub-criterion "Total Cost of Ownership (Price)" can be weighted between 40-70 %. The actual weights of each sub-criteria and part-criteria are decided by the Contracting Authority for that specific Competition and will be contained in the ITT of each specific Competition.
- The Contracting Authority will identify the economically most advantageous Tender on the basis of the best price-quality ratio. The sub-criterion "Supply (Quality)" can be weighted between 30-60 %. The actual weights of each sub-criteria and part-criteria are decided by the Contracting Authority for that specific Competition and will be contained in the ITT of each specific Competition.
- The Contracting Authority will identify the economically most advantageous Tender on the basis of the best price-quality ratio. The sub-criterion "Total Cost of Ownership (Price)" can be weighted between 90-100 %. The actual weights of each sub-criteria and part-criteria are decided by the Contracting Authority for that specific Competition and will be contained in the ITT of each specific Competition.
- The Contracting Authority will identify the economically most advantageous Tender on the basis of the best price-quality ratio. The sub-criterion "Support (Quality)" can be weighted between 0-10 %. The actual weights of each sub-criteria and part-criteria are decided by the Contracting Authority for that specific Competition and will be contained in the ITT of each specific Competition.

## Description

NORDUnet operates a Global IP/MPLS core network used for IP network services and settlement-free peering. The NORDUnet network has multiple nodes in each of the five Nordic countries, in the Netherlands; Amsterdam, Switzerland/France; CERN, Germany; Hamburg and Frankfurt and UK; London and Dublin, as well as at locations in North America; Chicago, New York and Washington, and locations in Asia; Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. These locations are indicative and subject to change over the lifetime of the DPS. The current NORDUnet IP/MPLS core network is based on Juniper routers. The deployed equipment is a mix of MX and PTX Series routers.
