## Description

A frequency comb is a complicated metrology tool to stabilize and characterize lasers, much like a wavemeter but with far greater precision, accuracy, and versatility. Our requirements are a frequency comb that can stabilize > 10 lasers with wavelength that are defined in the field, in the wavelength range of 670-2100nm, and long term linewidth < 20kHz for IR wavelengths using a GPS referenced RF lock. The possibility should be available for even better performance using an optical reference. The base unit for the frequency comb is typically broadened using “extensions” to reach larger wavelength coverage. The base unit from Toptica offer 8 output ports that feed into an extension. Once these ports are occupied, an entire new frequency comb is required to stabilize more lasers, so these ports must be used efficiently. What separates the equipment compared to other options on the market is the capabilities of their extensions. For more information BT-135
