### Award Criterion Descriptions

- The sub-criterion "Price" is assessed relatively. The offers are thus assessed in relation to the other offers received. In connection with the final evaluation, a scoring model will be used, where prices are converted into points, which can then be weighted against points for qualitative criteria in an overall assessment. In the price evaluation, AAU will apply the linear consideration: Points for quotation = 10 – (10 x ((TP – LP) / (HP – LP))) TP = Offered Price ("Total Offer Price") LP = Lowest price (lowest "Total Offer Price") HP = 50% higher than LP The method assigns maximum points to the cheapest tender, on a scale from 0 to 10, while other tenders are awarded maximum points with a deduction corresponding to their submission from the cheapest tender. This method will be used in cases where the spread in the prices received is between 0% and 100%.
- The tenders received will be assessed according to the detailed answers in the requirement specification. The qualitative sub-criterion 'quality' will be evaluated according to an absolute evaluation model. The offers are thus assessed independently of the other offers received. Points are awarded on the basis of how well the tenders meet the requirements linked to the individual sub-criteria. Several offers can thus obtain the same points. AAU will evaluate the Tenderer's response to the sub-criterion 'quality' based on the sub-criteria according to the tender specification section 7.2.

Aalborg University - AAU Energy is set to create a new hybrid Energy Storage (HES) facility representing a pioneering advancement in scalable, controllable, modular, and flexible energy storage solutions. This cutting-edge facility addresses critical challenges in grid stability, power quality management, and future renewable energy integration while providing essential grid balancing services. The HES facility integrates storage technologies, including Supercapacitors and Battery modules, coupled with Power Electronic interfaces, a Real-Time Digital Simulator, and a Linear Power Amplifier. Operating at a 750-kW capacity level, the facility is designed to: • Stabilize power demand fluctuations from renewable energy sources • Enable both grid-connected and islanded operational modes • Support energy services and power system-level applications
