### Award Criterion Descriptions

- Live-cell imaging, manipulation, and dynamic studies of microbial cells within their native environments are therefore essential aspects of the MicroCorr research strategy. To support these requirements, the instrument must meet the following key specifications and be able to combine those: i) Confocal Raman spectroscopy, fluorescence imaging and reflectance imaging with optical sectioning; ii) Advanced scanning modes (e.g. DuoScan in combination with motorized scanning stage) for improved scanning speed and flexibility; iii) Laser trapping / optical tweezers for immobilization of cells during analysis; iv) Sample relocalization and correlative imaging solutions for multimodal microscopy workflows (e.g. nanoGPS navYX™), based on machine-readable patterned tags attached to the sample or sample holder.

## Description
