Region Midtjylland ønsker at anskaffe en elektroporator inklusiv udstyrsafhængige forbrugsvarer fra Scintila s.r.o., til klinisk anvendelse. Elektroporatorens skal indgå som en del af Center for Gen- og Celleterapis produktionsfaciliteters renrum. Formålet med anskaffelsen er at understøtte akademisk produktion af avancerede terapier (ATMP), herunder genredigering af blodstamceller (HSC) til autolog transplantation hos udvalgte patienter med medfødt immundefekt samt på sigt også non-viral fremstilling af CAR-T celler og andre typer genterapier.
