### Award Criterion Descriptions

- In order to identify which tender offers the best price-quality ratio; the contracting entity will use a comparative model for comparing the financial sub-criterion Price, and the qualitative sub-criteria Extra Points. The model is explained in detail in Appendix 1 - Technical requirements and Appendix A - Tender evaluation. The following scoring mechanism will be applied comparing the tenders: Price 95.5% is evaluated on the basis of the overall price for evaluation purposes (referred to in the following as the "evaluation-technical price"). The overall evaluation-technical price is calculated as total price of the tender given in the tender/quote.
- Extra Points 4.5 % - evaluated on the basis of the following sub-criteria: Accumulated number of points as indicated in Appendix 1 – Technical specifications. Within Appendix 1 - Technical specifications several items (2.1/7.3/10.7.1/10.8.1/10.8.2/10.8.3/11.11/12.7 and 15.1) are marked with the require-ment positive or negative in column B, and grading information for how and how many points can be gained with the respective item in Column E. For each of the items the technical specifications of each item will be checked against the grading criteria and the according number of points will be awarded. The total sum of the points will be used for comparison. Please be aware that item 2.1 leads to points being deducted and that if this item reaches a score of more than -3 points it will lead to an infraction of item 2 and thus not meet the minimum requirements given by item 2.

## Description

The Quantum Training Laboratory at the Niels Bohr Institute/University of Copenhagen is a unique educational infrastructure which allows students to work hands-on with quantum technology using equipment which is on par with that used in the research laboratories. A cornerstone of the Quantum Training Lab will be the Quantum Demonstrator, a closed cycle dilution refrigerator which can be used for training on and demonstration of the advances within in quantum information technologies. As the focus for this system is to be training on quantum information technologies, we are in need of a well-established system. The closed cycle dilution refrigerator for use in quantum information technologies should fit the purpose and meet the specifications listed in Appendix 1 - Technical specifications and Appendix 1.1 Room layout and height constraints. The specifications are separated into several groups. E.g. requirements for the cryostat, requirements for the measurement setup, and technical requirements given by the installation site.
