## Description

DTU intends to order a special 2-stage Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigerator (ADR), which is to be used for the GISMO camera on the Greenland Telescope. The two stages are: 1) a 100mK stage, which must be able to reach a stable base-temperature of 30mK and a cooling capacity of 120mJ @100mK, and 2) a ~500-1000mK stage, which should have a base temperature of ~600mK and a cooling capacity of 1.5J @1K. DTU considers that no others can offer the same guarantee of this critical base temperature, making it the only vendor capable of reliably guaranteeing a 30mK base temperature in their ADR systems, and therefore DTU intends to place a direct award with Danaher Cryo.
