## Description

The Thermal Oil Bundles at Renseanlæg Avedøre, is nearing its end-of-life status, and the Contracting Authority is therefore in need of a supplier to supply a new set of Thermal Oil Bundles, including decommissioning of the old bundles, delivery of the new bundles and installation of these. The current bundles have been in service for approximately 25 years, and are an integrated part of the economizer part of the sludge incineration plant at Avedøre Wastewater Treatment PlantThis procurement is for: Design and build contract regarding replacement of the thermal oil bundles in the economizer part of the sludge incineration plant at Avedøre Wastewater Treatment Plant, including decommissioning of the current bundles. (the "Contract").The tasks are described in more detail in “Appendix 5 – Technical Specification for Replacement of Thermal Oil Bundles”, including sub-appendix.One (1) contract will be entered into with one (1) Contractor. The Contracting Authority has decided not to divide the contract into lots. This decision is based on the complexity of the works, for which a single contractual arrangement is considered necessary to ensure effective project management and clear allocation of responsibility. Furthermore, the Contracting Authority considers that a single contract will represent a more attractive commercial opportunity and generate economies of scale, thereby increasing the likelihood of receiving a sufficient level of market interest and competition to ensure the best possible outcome for the procurement. Moreover, a single contract will reduce the number of interfaces between contractors and minimize the risks associated with coordination, integration and overall project delivery.
