## Description

The LC-DAD-MS system is to be used to increase capacity in a workflow containing samples of both small molecules and biopolymer analysis such as intact proteins. The current instrument is an LC-MS system with a Bruker Maxis Impact equipped with an Apollo II electrospray ionisation source. To produce comparable data with the same protocols on the current and new system both must be equipped with the same ion source. Our market analysis found that it is only mass spectrometers from Bruker that fulfil this requirement. The specifications of LC-DAD-MS systems from other vendors were scouted through contact or by thorough information from their webpages
