This tender concerns DSB’s acquisition of new passenger coaches and a variety of interconnected deliverables by means of a framework agreement (Purchase Agreement (‘PA’)) as well as a framework agreement which will regulate the spare parts supply for the maintenance (Spare Parts Agreement (‘SPA’)). The purpose of the acquisition is to enable DSB to carry out its passenger transport operation.DSB will acquire new passenger coaches in support of DSB's existing fleet that will be operated using Siemens Vectron locomotives at a service-speed of at least 189 km/h. The acquisition consists of an initial purchase of 8 coach formations including the right to purchase additional formations and/or coaches.The PA and SPA are interconnected and the tender procedure for the agreements was the same. Both agreements has been awarded to the same tenderer in accordance with the common award criteria, see section II.2.5).
