Safety Helmet With Communication (SHWC)

Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) hereby issue a tender for a framework agreement for Safety Helmet With Communication (SHWC) including noise protection and portable intercom equipment for technical personnel working with F-16/F-35. The equipment will be used as hearing protection for the technical personnel working around a running F-16/F-35 engine and as well secure head protection for the technical personnel. The SHWC shall offer a communication system for the user. The wireless system shall consist of an ”access point” which is to be connected to the F-16/F-35 intercom system, and a set of ”portable transceivers” to be carried by the crew working around the aircraft. The solution must be wired with an option for wireless communication which can be disconnected. DALO estimates the purchase volume in the period of the framework agreement to be up to approx. 400-450 sets.
