Fjernvarme Fyn Carbon Capture plant

Fjernvarme Fyn is planning to reduce the carbon footprint from the waste to energy plant in Odense, Denmark. The tender will include an EPC contract for the entire Carbon capture plant. (Excluded Building and construction) The intention is to tender openly to the various technical solutions for technology in the capturing of CO2. Fjernvarme Fyn emits appx. 325 thousand tons of CO2 per year. 50% of the CO2 is biogenic and 50% is fossil. The CO2 is foreseen to be liquified in the carbon capture plant before transportation to an intermediate storage. The tender for the CO2 plant is expected to include carbon capture facilities, storage tanks, waste heat recovery, liquifaction- and loading facilities. Main figures for the waste to energy plant: - Incinerator 11 & 12: 2 x ~8,5 t/h, build 1995 - Incinerator 13: ~17 t/h, build 2000 - Waste: 300.000 t/y, ~50% fossil and ~50% biogenic - Power: 20 MW - Heat: 105 MJ/s Fjernvarme Fyn is responsible for the organization and execution of the tender and any contract entered into with Fjernvarme Fyn Holding A/S. Fjernvarme Fyn Holding is the contracting entity in this tender procedure. Fjernvarme Fyn Holding is tendering on behalf of all entities in Fjernvarme Fyn including entities not yet established. Please note that Fjernvarme Fyn expects and reserves the right to transfer the contract in this tender to any other entity in Fjernvarme Fyn (existing entity or new established) at any time (before or after signing the contract) e.g. following new regulations on carbon capture projects in Denmark. Meaning that another Fjernvarme Fyn entity may take over all rights and obligations of Fjernvarme Fyn Holding A/S according to the contract.
