Major overhaul of Steam Turbine FFA10 in 2024

Fjernvarme Fyn Affaldsenergi (FFA) is located Havnegade 120, DK-5000 Odense C, only a few kilometres from the city centre.The power plant consists of a coal-fired CHP unit 7, a straw-fired CHP unit 8 and a waste incineration plant with three waste-to-energy boilers (Line 11, Line 12 and Line 13) providing steam to two steam turbines (FFA10 and FFA13).FFA10 is a waste fired CHP plant. It was commissioned in 1996 and has a capacity of 11/13 MW electricity and 29 MJ/s district heating.<br><br>The steam turbine is planned to be in operation until 2032 (as a minimum).<br>The scope of supply for this tender is a major overhaul of the FFA10 steam turbine, gear and generator.The main target with the major overhaul is to ensure that the unit is in a condition where it can be operated safely, reliably and efficiently until the next major overhaul.<br>
