Market dialogue - Framework agreement for emergency repairs and planned repairs of the land and submarine cables of the COBRAcable interconnector

Energinet would like to identify potential suppliers for a framework agreement for emergency repairs and planned repairs of the land and submarine cables of the COBRAcable interconnector between Denmark and the Netherlands. The scope of the framework agreement is jointing works and delivery of spare parts in relation to emergency and planned repairs of the land and submarine cables of the COBRAcable interconnector. LOT 1 - COBRAcable – Cable repair - Onshore Place of Performance: DK-Denmark Energinet would like to enter into a framework agreement for emergency repairs and planned repairs of the land cable of the COBRAcable interconnector and would therefore like to identify suppliers for such an agreement. The COBRAcable interconnector connects the electricity transmission grids in Denmark(DK2) and the Netherlands and is capable of transmitting 700 MW at +/- 320 kV DC. The interconnector was commissioned in 2019. The land cable was manufactured by Prysmian and the insulation material of the land cable is DC XLPE. Expected contract value: 5 million EUR The scope of works for this framework agreement - Jointing works in relation to emergency repairs and planned repairs of the COBRAcable land cable - Delivery of spare sparts(such as land cable joints, transition joints between land and submarine cable, cable end terminations etc.) With this announcement Energinet would like to identify potential suppliers who have an interest in submitting a bid for the services tendered for in a tender and subsequently undertake the services outlined above. Energinet will contact the suppliers who have shown an interest in submitting a bid and reserves the right to clarify if the supplier can deliver the services tendered for. LOT 2 - COBRAcable – Cable repair - Offshore Place of Performance: DK-Denmark and DE - Germany Energinet would like to enter into a framework agreement for emergency repairs and planned repairs of the submarine cable of the COBRAcable interconnector and would therefore like to identify suppliers for such an agreement.
