Technical dialogue concerning renewal of VCS in Copenhagen ATCC and TWR

The Danish Air Navigation Service Provider, Naviair, is currently preparing an EU tender process with the aim of replacing Naviairs existing main Voice Communication Systems (VCS) in Copenhagen Air Traffic Control Center (ATCC) and Copenhagen Tower (TWR). The new main VCS must use full VoIP based technology and comply to the EUROCAE standards: ED-136, ED-137 and ED-138 for a safe and reliable execution of Air Traffic Management Services (ATM). The system must support communication via VoIP as well as legacy interfaces e.g. MFC. In preparation of the tender process Naviair will execute a technical dialogue to enable Naviair to specify the functional-, technical-, and safety related requirements in the upcoming tender. There will not be any contract signed after completion of the technical dialogue.
