Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistic Organization (DALO) is preparing a new tender regarding Commercial Of The Shelf (COTS) Spare Parts for the Danish defence military vehicle fleets as well as various equipment, tools and accessories for the Horse Guard. DALO is therefore seeking information in order to prepare the upcoming tender. DALO encourages all potential suppliers to show their interest in this tender by participating in and answering this Request for Information (RFI). DALO intend to conduct a tender for Civilian of the Shelf (COTS) Spare Parts for the Danish defence military vehicle fleets as well as various equipment, tools and accessories for the Horse Guard. The Spare Parts are expected to mainly be for the vehicle types and within the groups and subgroups (the groups are based on NATO Stock Numbers according to the NATO Codification System) listed below: DALO intend to conduct a tender for Civilian of the Shelf (COTS) Spare Parts for the Danish defence military vehicle fleets as well as various equipment, tools and accessories for the Horse Guard. This could eg. be leather and other textiles, yarn, threads, cushins, rings and seats for saddles and repair of uniforms. DALO is keen to use standard off-the-shelf products, however DALO will need good quality products so parts, components etc. (as a whole refered to as Delivery Items) are not a liability for the soldiers. It is not a requirement that the tenderer offers Spare Parts of OEM quality, however if the tenderer does not offer OEM Spare Parts the offered Spare Parts must be of Equivalent Quality. Due to DALO´s need of supply redundancy DALO intend to enter into parallel framework agreements for each Delivery Item with up to three separate suppliers (in a cascade model) and/or to perform a light/mini-competion among all the winning tenderers after the contracts are signed. DALO do not expect any one tenderer to be able to supply all Delivery Items listed in the final tender material. Therefore DALO do not expect any of the Delivery Items in the tender to be mandatory. DALO expect that tenderers will be free to decide which delivery items to offer. Please also note that all your answers will be kept commercially confidential by DALO and in compliance with Danish laws. DALO emphasizes that participation in this RFI will not influence your participation in a possible upcoming tender.
