HVDC Converter substation Bornholm

Having concluded that no tenders suitable to the tender material have been received in the competitive dialogue “BEI Stations Tender Project – HVDC Converter substations” under SQS 344674, the contract is awarded based on the negotiated procedure without prior call for competition, pursuant to Article 50a of the Utilities Directive (Directive 2014/25/EU). Following the evaluation of the received tenders in the article 50a procedure, BEI Stations herby intend to award the contract for BEI Stations to Siemens Energy. The intention to award is conditional on BEI Stations achieving the Final Investment Decision ( FID) based on the currently ongoing Danish political process on the overall Bornholm Energy Island project.
