The Section for Forensic Chemistry intends to procure two high-end ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS) systems. The intended purpose for the systems is forensic qualitative analysis of drugs found at low concentrations in ante- and postmortem biological samples. The procurement should include installation, user training and a service contract for 5 years including yearly preventative maintenance. Automation of operations in data acquisition software Interaction of external software with acquisition software e.g. to build methods and sequences as well as submit analytical runs or system tests achieved without any user interaction. Extensibility of vendor software End user implementation of new functionality and extension of existing functionality. The software allows for full customization of user interface buttons and their functionality, which allows us to incorporate custom tools for automation of regular data analysis tasks. Integration of external data system The software allows for bidirectional data transfer to and from LIMS using direct data queries. This allows for integration of external data with the data analysis software and enables e.g. addition of custom data columns and flagging of results based on custom criteria. This improves the usability by enabling e.g. hot linking of data between LIMS and the data analysis software.
