Chargers for Tactical Batteries

The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) is planning af future tender in connection with the acquisition of listed chargers for Tactical Batteries in the following categories: 1. Vehicular mounted. 2. Workshop rack. 3. Desktop. 4. Field suitcase/transportable. 5. Group. 6. Soldier worn. DALO is looking into updating its current stock of chargers for tactical batteries. New chargers should analyze the batteries beyond just reading the battery management system (bms). Logging of battery data, along with built-in analysis, will help in quickly finding any battery operating in a non-typical way. Logistics will benefit from better overview of battery states across the area of interest and can order and deploy the correct amount of batteries timely. Result will be batteries that are more reliable for the soldier and field technicians can relay high quality reports, when they encounter faulty batteries. In section 6 ind the RFI-document is a list of overall technical requirements for chargers for tactical batteries, which DALO expects to be part of the tender. For each category, DALO expect to buy several hundred to a thousand chargers during the period of the Framework agreement. The tender procedure will expectedly involve user testing of the chargers and accessories included in the tender. DALO expects to purchase the test items, which are to be delivered for testing in August and September 2025. In connection with the acquisition, DALO would like to enter into a dialogue with the market so DALO can obtain information about the possibilities and restrictions on the market. DALO has prepared a range of questions in this Request for Information (RFI), which DALO would like to gain information on. DALO encourages the market to reply to this RFI and to submit any information, product presentations and/or catalogues that might be relevant. Response on the RFI shall be sent no later than March 21 2025, 13:00 local time.
