RFI for BMR tender 2025

IntroductionWe encourage market participants with expertise in BMR stations for biomethane to express their interest and if relevant outline the conditions required to enter the market and establish operations in Denmark.We also encourage to provide feedback for the BMR design and concept of Evida based on the material provided in this RFI.The demand for BMR stations is expected to increase in the coming years both in volume and size as biogas in the gas grid is expected to grow. The share of biogas is projected to meet the entirety of Danish gas consumption by 2030, up from 38% in 2023.The BMR stations are placed at different biogas plant sites around Jutland, Funen, Zealand, and islands connected to the mainland by bridge.The BMR stations are used for controlling and ensuring the right quality and composition of the biogas before its injected into the grid.Purpose of the market dialogueThe purpose of the market dialogue is to ensure that Evida A/S has a proven and manufacturable BMR concept and an updated overview of the opportunities offered by the market, as well as to ensure that the future tender conditions are aligned with the market's capacity and competencies and to help define the requirements for the upcoming formal procurement process. It does not constitute a solicitation for offers or a promise to issue a tender.
