DTU intends to order 4 custom optical lenses for an astronomical camera. It is a custom optical design optimized for the use in the 2ES spectrograph. The lenses have a diameter of 210m, 244mm, 186mm and 216mm respectively. The involved glass types are Fused silica, S-FPL51 and BAL15Y. Two of the lenses are doublets that need to be cemented using Sylgard 184 optical bond. All lenses need an anti-reflection coating with the specifications Rmax <2% between 370nm-440nm, Ravg <0.5 from 440nm-890nm and Rmax <1% from 890-915nm. Because of the size of the lenses, two lenses have to be glued together and finally the coating is very complex, and therefore DTU consider Optik-plus to be the only company, who are able to fulfil this and therefore DTU intend to place an order as a direct award with Optik-plus.
