Construction of infrastructure for wind turbines at Nørre Økse SøThe site is an area of reasonably flat, open farmland.New roads along the existing farm land boundaries must be constructed, so the individual wind turbine locations can be accessed by construction equipment and the turbine components. The road layout is designed based on geotechnical survey and according to the requirement of the turbine supplier. For the erection and maintenance requirements at each wind turbine location a hardstand area in region of 1 500 m2 will be required. For the new roads and hardstands there must be relocated existing field drainage and installed new drainage.The current layout includes 7 ditch crossings, which will require piping that allows water to flow beneath the road.
