The Copenhagen Metro or Metroselskabet (MS), operates and build metro and light rail lines in Greater Copenhagen. The company builds large infrastructure projects and thus has a portfolio of large construction projects. In addition, MS has the overall responsibility for the operation of Copenhagen Metro with over 120 million passengers a year and is facing further expansions with a new metro line to Nordhavn, Sydhavn and Lynetteholm. In addition, MS has other large and small projects related to customers and operations, including reinvestment. A core strategic component is the CDE. It will be hosting key project and enterprise data used by several systems in MS, including systems delivered as part of the digitalization projects. The CDE will thereby become a central data store, sharing data between systems used in development, planning, design, construction, and operation phases. The CDE will also deliver key functionality for BIM-collaboration.
