Contract on a Nordic assessment of cooperation interfaces on preparedness and societal security

Task description:The Consultant must generate in the form of a report in English a Nordic assessment of cooperation interfaces on preparedness and societal security.Objectives:The objectives of the assessment are:i) to identify challenges to cooperation in the field of societal security, preparedness, and resilience, with particular emphasis on the Nordic Council of Minister’s cooperation interface, while maintaining a broader Nordic perspective,ii) to identify good practices of cooperation, as well as threats to cooperation, within societal security, preparedness, and resilience,iii) to identify areas in which cooperation within societal security, preparedness and resilience is of particular strategic importance, extending beyond national efforts, and thereby to identify areas where there is a positive mutual interdependence between the Nordic countries, and where cooperation could generate Nordic added value (including the Baltics, the Arctic as well as Greenland, Åland and the Faroe Islands),iv) to identify underdeveloped interfaces for the Nordic Council of Ministers (e.g., between organisations or subject areas) for cooperation and exchange of experience within preparedness and resilience,v) to understand the perceived relevance of the Nordic Council of Ministers in the area of preparedness and resilience, and how the organisation’s role can be strengthened.Language:The tender offer with all documents including any appendices to the solution description, must be submitted in the English language.Contract value:Maximum DKK 500.000 excl.
