Homologation of DSB 9 DD5 coaches

This announcement concerns the conclusion of a contract for the Homologation of DSB 9 DD5 coaches, divided into two sub-agreements: 1) Sub-agreement 1: Advisory: The purpose with this advertisement is to enter a contract with a Supplier to provide advisory services for the homologation of 9 DD5 coaches for operation by DSB under the supervision of the Danish NSA (National Safety Authority) – Trafikstyrelsen. These coaches have been operated by CFL in Luxembourg until February 2026. The coaches will undergo a minimum and necessary modification for operational use in Denmark: a) mounting of pictograms inside and outside the coaches, b) minor repairs of holes from removed equipment and c) removal of small garbage bins; followed by a homologation process for approval in Denmark. 2) Sub-agreement 2: Certification: The purpose with this tender is to enter a contract with a Supplier to pro- vide certification services for the homologation of 9 DD5 coaches for op- eration by DSB under the supervision of the Danish NSA (National Safety Authority) – Trafikstyrelsen. These coaches have been operated by CFL in Luxembourg until February 2026. The coaches will undergo a minimum and necessary modification for operational use in Denmark: a) mounting of pictograms inside and outside the coaches, b) minor repairs of holes from removed equipment and c) removal of small garbage bins; followed by a homologation process for approval in Denmark. The successful homologation of the 9 DD5 coaches shall comply with European rail regulations and Danish national requirements. DSB must ultimately be the type-approval holder of the 9 DD5 coaches. NB! The tenderer can only submit a tender quotation for one of the sub-agreements.
