Introduction to EIFO:
EIFO was established as an independent public enterprise under Act No. 167 of June 21, 2022 (the Act on Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund). EIFO is both a state investment fund and Denmark’s export credit agency.
EIFO provides risk capital to Danish companies. Additionally, EIFO strives to support successful businesses with the aim of making Denmark wealthier and the world greener.
As a state-owned financial institution with a global perspective and AAA rating, EIFO offers a range of financial solutions for Danish companies and their foreign customers and partners. Furthermore, EIFO invests in startups and funds focused on innovation and technology.
EIFO operates in markets where private actors tend to be cautious. This includes new markets and the development of innovative technologies. Here, EIFO supports Danish companies in the early stages of their development. EIFO’s coverage ranges broadly from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) needing capital to grow, to larger export companies requiring capital to establish themselves in new and uncertain markets and capture market share.

Tender:
This tender concerns a contract for EIFO’ Directors and Officers insurance (D&O insurance) covering the excess layer to follow form the primary layer.
Please refer to the tender material for information about capacity (limits and retention), risk assessment, primary layer and the time and activity plan. The information will not be shared publicly, but can be obtained directly from the contact person.
Questions are to be addressed to the contact person in writing as soon as possible and no later than 10th December 2025. Marsh will gather all questions in a Q&A document which will be provided to insurers as soon as possible. It will be updated along the process.
The quoting deadline is 15th December 2025 (prolongation of deadline is NOT possible).
