Provide Storage, Maintenance and Welfare Facilities at Akkasaeter Training Area. NATO Project Serial Number 2RS11113-0

The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency (NDEA) - on behalf of MOD Norway - intends to issue an invitation to submit tender under the rules and procedures for National Competitive Bidding Plus (NCB+) as defined for the NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP). The project will cover the provision of storage, maintenance and welfare facilities at Akkasaeter Training Area. Akkasaeter is located in Troms county in Northern Norway. NDEA would like to ensure that eligible firms from NATO member nations (at 30B) are informed and invited to participate in the competition. 2. Scope The contracts will include, but are not limited to, the following: Part 1: Provision of a mess and welfare building, including kitchen facilities. The contract is scheduled to be signed in January 2025, with start of works shortly after contract signature. Works are scheduled to be completed in March 2026. The contract is estimated to approximately EUR 6,410,000 Part 2: Provision of storage and vehicle maintenance facilities. The contract is scheduled to be signed in January 2025, with start of works shortly after contract signature. Works are scheduled to be completed in December 2025. The contract is estimated to approximately EUR 3,205,000 The project has been prefinanced in accordance with NATO rules and procedures. Special qualification requirements: Contractors performing work on electrical systems in Norway must be in possession of the required national certification for such works in order to ensure compliance with Norwegian rules and regulations.
