Construction Project: Construction of NATO-Facilities BAIUDBw - Nr./BAIUDBw-No. 68-05-11 (01-2026) NOTICE OF INTENT The Federal Republic of Germany intends, in the near future, to advertise for the following works/services within the framework of the commonly financed NATO Security Investment Program on www.service.bund.de: 1 Description and location of the project: NATO site Uedem, D-47589 Uedem, North RhineWestphalia, Germany 2 Responsible Agency: Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb Nordrhein-Westfalen, Niederlassung Bundesbau Street/Square No.: Am Silberpalais 1 Location:D-47057 Duisburg Section/Poc: BMB41 Herr Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Knipping Phone-No./E-Mail: +49203-98711457; +491522-2695457 [email protected] 3 Period of performance (approx.) from – to: Nov 2026 to Sep 2031 4 Type and Scope (principal works/services only): New construction of an office building, approx. 103 m x 32 m x 21 m, in concrete construction with interior fittings, complex technical systems in redundant design, security equipment, building fittings 5 Although it is planned to place contracts covering a/m works/services as a whole, the tender call may provide for a subdivision into separate lots. The following partial lots are to be formed: - Extended shell construction - Interior work - Heating, air conditioning, ventilation and sanitation - Electrical and telecommunications systems - Outdoor facilities - Building equipment 6 For this NATO Security Investment Programme procurement the assessment by national authorities is mandatory. The national assessment, in the form of a Declaration of Eligibility (DoE) is to be issued to the procurement authority. The DoE must be presented until (see No. 9.) 7 Firms who do not have their place of business in one of the following NATO-member countries Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Federal Republic of Germany, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Türkiye, United Kingdom, United States of America, are excluded from the competitive bidding. No materials or items of equipment down to and including sub-assemblies and all services shall be procured, manufactured or assembled by a firm other than from and within a participating country (see above No.7) 10 The date considered for placing the order is 30.10.2026. 11 The applicants must be cleared for classified matters up to the degree of -NATO UNCLASSIFIED 12 Deposit for security of completion: Contract performance security and warranty security: 5 % of contract amount 13 It is specifically stressed that the a/m dates concerning the period of performance and the submissions of bids shall not be deemed to be final, and that the competitive bidding might be delayed.
