Summary of the procurement's purpose and background: NSIP MO Poland-on behalf of the State Treasury- the Minister of National Defence Poland - intends to run a competition for the provision of a training building adjacent to the existing facilities at JFTC together with the necessary technical infrastructure and site development. The projects covered by the Contract are included in Capability Package 9B0401-ADD1 "Provide JWC and JFTC Infrastructure to suit NRF/RAP Training" - the First Stage Authorisation and authority to issue IFB and to commit NATO funds was granted by the Investment Committee in documents No. AC/4(PP)D/28335 and AC/4(PP)D/27925-ADD1. The projects are intended to address the current shortfall in JFTC workspace in order to ensure an appropriate level of delivery of training activities conducted by JFTC. The competition shall be announced in accordance with the rules and procedures for NATO Competitive Procurement as defined for the NATO Security Investment Programme. The contract to be awarded is of a Civil Works nature. With this Notification, NSIP MO Poland, would like to ensure that eligible vendors from any NATO member nation participating in the funding of the project are informed and invited to participate in the competition. This Notification is issued to foster open and fair competition among eligible venders. This Notification does not constitute a commitment to award a contract. The estimated value of the project exceeds the Established Financial Limit (EFL) Level E. 5.
