PERFORMANCE OF ENGINE POWER VERIFICATION ON DANISH FISHING VESSELS IN 2026 AND 2027

PURPOSE The Danish Veterinary, Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Agency (hereinafter referred to as the "contracting authority") requires the performance of a task concerning physical verification of engine power on fishing vessels with permission to fish in Danish waters. The contracting authority will use the results of the verification to verify whether the engine power of the respective fishing vessel exceeds the power stated on its fishing license. SCOPE OF THE TASK The advertisement regards the procurement of services by accredited entities, in order to assist the contracting authority in carrying out engine power verifications on a number of fishing vessels annually. The engine power verifications have to be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. Also, the terms and conditions for carrying out the engine power verifications can vary depending on the contracting authority’s assessment of how the task is organized and solved in the effective manner. The terms and conditions for performing the task is described in more detail in Annex 1.
