DTU submits annually about 3 500 research applications for external funding within DTU’s specific research areas. In 2018, DTU submitted research applications for a total of 10 000 000 000 DKK. Out of these 17 % in numbers and 25 % in amounts applied for EU funding.Proposals applying for research funding are within DTU’s core areas of expertise:— mathematics, physics and informatics,— chemistry and chemical engineering,— electronics, communications and space research,— construction, production and buildings,— life science and biotechnology.DTU has an in-house office for supporting research applications and related issues, the Research Support DTU. Therefore, the requested consultancy will be an added-value service for the researchers and it has to cover young as well as experienced researchers who will be at different levels in proposal writing for international and national programs as well as collaborative projects between DTU and industry.
