Acquisition of a confokal microscope

The objective is to set up a new confocal microscope allowing quantitative, and quantification experiments comparable 1:1 to already existing microscope setup. Technical file format most be reusable for current microscope setup. The file format must be compatible with both writing and reading capabilities. Experiment and data from the new microscope systems must be comparable and with same data format. Hardware components for existing microscope setup most be reused for the new confocal setup. Exchange of objectives etc. in between microscopes setup most be possible. Also including relocation of existing microscope setup. Upgradable with confocal detection with resolution down to 90 um.
